We knit these with thick acrylic yarn for a relaxed slouch around the calf. The star pattern runs through the body between deep ribbed cuffs that keep the opening in place. They pull over tights, socks, or bare legs without binding.

Chunky acrylic knit

We use a soft acrylic yarn knit at an open gauge. It gives the body plenty of give to bunch around the lower leg while remaining light on the calf.

Top and bottom rib

Both ends are finished with a wide ribbed band. The top grips gently to stay up, while the bottom sits cleanly over boot collars or shoe tops.

Knit star motif

The star patterning is worked directly into the knit rather than printed on top. The design holds its shape even when the fabric gathers and folds.

Wash and care

Machine wash at low heat on a gentle cycle. Hang them on a line to dry and press with a cool iron only if needed.
