Asked often

Questions at low tide

The questions that reach us most, answered plainly.

Can I buy directly on this site

No. This site is our catalogue, not a shop. Every buy button opens the listing for that piece on our retail partner, and the purchase happens there.

Why do some pieces have a rating and most do not

Ratings come from the storefront listing. We only show one where it exists on the listing we link to. Leaving the rest blank is honest; filling them in with something plausible would not be.

Are the prices here current

They were current when we built the page. Price and stock live on the storefront and can change after we publish, so the listing itself is always the last word.

Two pieces look identical but sit on separate pages

They are the same design in different colourways, and each colourway is its own listing. Where they share a listing they share a rating and review count too, which is why we do not show the same design twice in a row in any of our picks.

How do I choose between a knee high and a crew

By what you are doing. A knee high holds through a match because the rib runs the length of the calf. A crew sits below it and suits everything else. The picker walks you through it in three questions, and the notes go into the knitting.

How should I wash a knit from this range

Cold water, similar fabrics, striped and jacquard socks turned inside out, every clasp and strap fastened before it goes in. Heavy knits dry flat, not on a hanger. Never run a hot dryer over ribbed cuffs or anything with elastic in it.

Do you have a size chart

Sizing sits on each storefront listing, because that is the size run actually in stock. Write to us if a chart is unclear and we will tell you how the piece is cut.

Who do I ask about my order

The account you ordered through. Order status, dispatch, changes, cancellations and returns are all held by our retail partner and none of it reaches us.
