A fine-gauge knit gives these thigh-high stockings plenty of stretch through the leg. We built the upper band with woven elastic threads so the fabric grips without pinching. Pull them high on the thigh, fold them below the knee, or push the leg down into a loose slouch over a boot.

Wide elastic cuff

The top band carries fine elastic thread knit straight into the rib. It holds the stocking up on the thigh without rolling down or binding into the leg.

High stretch knit

We knit the leg with generous crosswise give so the yarn expands evenly across the calf and thigh. The fabric snaps back into shape after each wash.

Three ways to wear

Pull the knit straight up for full over-knee length, turn the cuff down below the knee, or scrunch the leg fabric around the ankle to wear as a slouch sock.
