We cut this two-piece set from a smooth polyester weave that holds a knot firmly. The head scarf has ample length to wrap thick hair and hang down the back, while the matching sash wraps the waist with enough tail to drape. The red cloth packs flat and smooths out quickly.

Fabric weave

We use a lightweight polyester cloth with a slight natural give that pulls tight against the brow. The weave stays flat without bunching stiffly under a knot.

Head wrap cut

The scarf is cut long and narrow so you can wrap the head once or twice. The long tails trail past the nape and hold position without slipping loose.

Waist sash shape

The sash is wide through the middle and tapers toward the ends to sit comfortably over a shirt or tunic. It knots once or twice at the hip.

Washing and care

Rinse the sash and head scarf in cold water by hand or on a gentle cycle. Hang them over a line to air dry, and they will dry fast without losing their red tone.
