Hood and drawcord

The deep hood features an integrated drawcord that tightens close around the face. When the wind picks up, cinching the cord helps keep the hood firmly seated over a knit cap or bare head.

Cuff and hem finish

Each sleeve finishes with an elastic band that gathers cleanly at the wrist. Down at the base, an adjustable hem cord lets you pull the bottom edge inward to close off drafts.

Woven shell fabric

We chose a thin, crisp waterproof fabric that keeps the total weight low without sacrificing coverage. The weave packs flat into a bag and shakes out easily with minimal creasing.

Care and maintenance

Wash this shell on a gentle cycle in cold water and hang it to dry on a line. The light fabric dries quickly in open air, ready to fold back into a travel pack.
