We build this cold-weather set with a smooth outer fleece and a plush sherpa interior on both the aviator cap and mittens. The dropped ear flaps fasten beneath the chin with a hook-and-loop closure to keep the hat in place. Matching mittens feature an elasticated wrist band that pulls on easily over small hands.

Sherpa fleece lining

Both the hat and mittens are constructed with a double layer, pairing a dense outer fleece with high-pile sherpa on the inside. The inner surface feels soft and holds warm air without adding stiff bulk.

Ear flaps and strap

The aviator profile extends downward at the sides to cover the ears completely. A broad chin strap with a hook-and-loop tab secures the fit so the cap stays positioned during stroller rides and walks.

Elastic mitten wrists

We gathered the mitten cuffs with a hidden elastic band around the wrist. The opening expands wide to slide over fingers and snaps back gently to stay anchored under jacket sleeves.

Care and washing

This fleece set holds its shape and color through regular laundering. Wash in cold water on a gentle cycle, then lay flat to dry so the sherpa pile remains fluffy and untangled.
