We build this red tutu with three gathered tiers of fine mesh over a smooth, opaque slip. A wide elastic waist wrapped in matching satin band holds the weight without pinching. It works on its own as a skirt or layered under a dress as a petticoat to hold out the hem.

Gathered tulle tiers

Three cut layers of lightweight netting create a rounded, airy shape that holds its lift throughout wear. A quick shake out of the package separates the tiers and restores their volume.

Smooth inner lining

A soft, opaque base layer is stitched beneath the netting. It provides solid coverage and keeps the cut tulle edges away from tights or bare legs.

Satin elastic waistband

The waist relies on a broad elastic core wrapped in smooth red satin. It expands freely to sit flat around the middle without bunching or digging in.

Washing and care

Hand wash the skirt separately in cold water without bleach. Hang it or lay it flat to dry on a line, and avoid direct iron heat.
